2016 Carcase Quality Sale: Your Opportunity for Superior Murray Grey bulls and females
June 15, 2016High quality Murray Grey carcase bulls with tremendous growth and muscling and the ability to finish quickly are what’s available when 23 bulls go under the hammer at the 2016 Wallawong Carcase Quality Sale held 14th July on property ‘Marriot Park’ 13km south of Gunnedah on the Kamilaroi Highway . In addition 23 young productive females are also on offer at the Sale.
With major processors implementing Meat Standards Australia grading systems and new PCAS market premiums available, cattle that can meet ideal carcase specifications easily are becoming highly sought after.
Due to the consistently high carcase results experienced by commercial clients, we are experiencing a surge of interest in the high growth and easy finish type Wallawong bulls from an increasing number of beef producers looking to cross breed and improve carcase compliance in programs such as MSA and PCAS.
Commercial clients with Euro cross cows, Hereford cows, Santa Hereford cross, and black cows are all coming to buy Wallawong bulls to maximise the hybrid vigour and improve carcase compliance in their offspring.
After listening to people over the past few years we found that if they went towards European breeds chasing growth they are dissatisfied with issues like calving ease and cattle that won’t finish easily. People trying out black bulls are getting temperament issues they never had before. With Wallawong bulls you can get growth and finish with a great temperament as well.
